Blood Sugar Sex Magik was recorded at a haunted mansion previously owned by magician Harry Houdini. The image is a burlesque interpretation, featuring crickets having sex, a rabbit in a hat, a mound of sugar, a magic wand and an occult Wiccan pentacle. And all are bloody! Disturbing? Perhaps. But a fitting tribute to the Chili Peppers raucous style.
